Disadvantages of Dynamic RAM
There are are some disadvantages associated with dynamic RAM. Dynamic RAM, for instance, is slower than static RAM. It takes longer for dynamic RAM to add, delete or access stored data than static RAM.
While many types of dynamic RAM are energy efficient, this doesn’t apply to all of them. Some types of dynamic RAM consume more power than static RAM. If you’re going to buy dynamic RAM with which to upgrade your computer, you should consider its power requirements.
